Cost:Free Description:I'm most honoured to be playing this amazing event. It is like a mixed box of chocolates and hiding behind each cellophane wrapper are segments of experimental music, poetry, slides, films and sometimes a combination of all the above. I have seen amazing songwriters, ambient space jams, looping cellists, and a man who put 7 recorders in his mouth and played them all at once and lady who recited a Fondu recipe. (And now me with my haunting little songs) The event is free. They pass the hat round at the end of the night in true Robert Johnson style. I have been to quite a few Dead Or Alive nights. Fantastic promoter that put on Bloc Party and Art Brut when they were unkown. He has recently started putting on acoustic acts, so It should be a fantastic line up.Old Queens Head, 44 Essex Road, Islington, London, N1 8LN Cost : £4 or £3 with flyer. Angel tube(7.30pm)
